Hey! My name is Sean Hilken and I am keen on making rad stuff.

I have always enjoyed tinkering, which eventually led me to a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Combine that with my DIY/hands-on mentality and the inner artist that has been cultivated since childhood and you have HilkBuilt.

HilkBuilt was started as a platform to show off my various creations, which have ranged from simple side tables to intensive LED artwork. As I have shared my work, it has presented me with an opportunity to sell items to the public and begin to offer other custom build services. 

I enjoy finding new materials and processes to create with whenever possible, and more than likely will also find a way to incorporate LEDs.
